About Lumora
Lumora (lumora.video) is a browser-based studio that turns screen recordings and screenshots into cinematic product demo and launch videos. Who makes it, what it does and what it doesn't.
What Lumora is
Lumora (lumora.video) is a web app that turns a raw screen recording or a few screenshots into a finished product video. It adds what a motion designer would: 3D camera moves, auto zoom on the parts that move, callouts, cursor clicks, device frames, captions, an optional AI voiceover and music cut to the beat. Videos export as MP4, GIF or WebM in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1.
It is made for software teams, indie founders and developer advocates who need a launch video, a feature-update clip or a short walkthrough, and don't have a video editor on hand.

Not to be confused with
Another product called Lumora (uselumora.app) makes interactive click-through product demos with a Chrome extension. That is a different, unrelated company. If you are looking for clickable demos with hotspots and lead forms, that one, or tools such as Arcade, Supademo and Storylane, are what you want. Lumora at lumora.video makes videos.
What Lumora is good at, and what it isn't
Good fit:
- Short product demos, launch trailers and feature-update clips (15 seconds to 2 minutes).
- Screen Studio-style auto zoom on Windows, Linux and ChromeOS, or on a recording made with any other tool.
- One edit, three formats: landscape for YouTube and the landing page, vertical for Reels and Shorts, square for feeds.
- Changelog videos made by a coding agent after each release, through MCP.
Not a good fit:
- Interactive click-through demos (try Arcade, Supademo, Storylane or Navattic).
- Long tutorials, courses or meeting recordings over 2 minutes (try Loom, Tella, Camtasia or Descript).
- AI avatar presenters (try Synthesia or HeyGen).
